Barrett Burston Malting has its origins in the various families of Burston, Hood, Smith and Barrett, pioneers who established the malting industry in Australia in the 1860's.
The company's head office and main malting operations are located in Victoria - the home of some of Australia's finest malting barley crops. Today with operations expanded to NSW and Queensland, Barrett Burston combines tradition and experience with innovation. Their management team is focussed on quality in malt and excellence in service using traditional values in an unrelenting pursuit of quality.
