Malteurop’s innovative business model is to be the market integrator of the barley-malt-beer value chain. Malteurop is in control of the entire chain of creation of value, both on the level of physical flows and of information flows, and including management of risks. This role of integrator begins with the validation of a new variety of malting barley and continues up to the final delivery of the malt to the brewery.

Malteurop's strategic objective is to enable its customers to optimise the Total Cost of Ownership of the supply chain of malt to the brewery. Their approach consists in adapting this business model to each country where the Group is present to suit the economic and cultural environment and depending on the needs of each client. The goal is to provide sustainable solutions, optimised over the long term, both on mature and on emerging markets.

The production facility is based at Marton and barley is barged up from Canterbury for malting.
